Scholarships for Softball

If you have been playing softball at the high school or college level, there is a chance that you could qualify for a softball scholarship to help pay for your studies. You don’t necessarily have to be an all-star player to qualify, either. There are plenty of scholarships out there for student softball players of all abilities. Some of these scholarships, which are often awarded by local community foundations, are available to all student athletes, while others go exclusively to softball players. Although many softball scholarships look for applicants with strong academics, the primary criteria are usually playing softball, good sportsmanship and leadership ability. During the application process, students may be asked to submit a personal essay, as well as letters of recommendation from coaches or others. Get started by looking at the softball scholarships in the list below.
