The content must be original, in other words the content must not be reproduced from the Internet. We will run a Copyscape search (plagiarism checker) to ensure the content is original and not duplicated from the Internet. By submitting the essay the winners are granting Yanez & Associates permission to post the essay on and/or any social media channel. Further, the winners will be required to submit a headshot, which will be used to accompany the essay when it posts. The topic question for 2016: Q: What issues do family law judges take into account when determining who should get custody of the children; how can the child custody orders be modified post-judgment?
